Wedding of Tabea&Matthias in Steinbach

Today was a wonderful day, and I am so happy to share Tabea and Matthias wedding pictures with you! Over the last few weeks, I got to spend quite a bit of time before, during and after their wedding with this amazing couple. All that time spent together has allowed for our relationship to blossom into a beautiful friendship! I’m pretty sure that if you asked the two about “Who is Thomas?”, they wouldn’t just refer to me as their photographer. I’m very confident and grateful they consider me a friend. Lucky Me!

Before the Wedding

This morning we headed to Winnipeg to create some memorable wedding photos for these two. When possible, I like to take my clients to Winnipeg. The city has such a variety of gorgeous shooting locations in close proximity! Don’t just take my word for it. Check out the photos and feel free to point out your favourites in the comments below!

Now, you may think “Oh goodness, they went to a photo studio as well!”. Actually, no we did not!! With the right equipment and the right knowledge, any place can become your studio. Yes, even a parking garage!

The Reception

The food is just amazing, and just looking at these pictures as I edit them, I can feel myself getting hungry again! Amazing cooking, plating and decorating.

Special Moments

As a side note, I was supposed to be done for the day a while ago, because I was only booked for a few hours. These two beauties were having so much fun with me, they ended up changing their minds and asking me to stay for a while longer. Needless to say, I happily obliged and kept on capturing these unforgettable moments. After I showed them the results, they were so so happy with their decision to keep me on for a few extra hours. If it wasn’t for that extra time, they would have missed out on some amazing photos. You can watch the video below and hear what they say about it. When I was editing their photos, they spoke to me. Like the way mom holds the groom very tight and hugs him. When the bride hugs his sister, or the bride’s speech bringing her dad to tears. Even the mom kissing her daughter or my favourite picture of dad hugging the groom. I’m convinced that it is always better to make sure you capture moments like these forever in photos, rather than have a little bit more in your account. You can always earn some more and make it up, but there is no going back and capturing what you have missed anymore.
